The 11th Reunion World Salsa Congress Tour

The World Salsa Congress Tour returns to Metro Detroit this August 19, to August 21, 2011 in beautiful Troy, Michigan.

A Salsa Congress is a convention of unity. People of all ages and from all over the world come together to share, learn and celebrate the dance and music of Salsa! There will be live music, world class DJs, Dance shows, demonstrations, Classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. Everyone is welcome.

This year’s event will be held with the support of Troy Dance Studio, in collaboration with Albert Torres and our sponsors, at The MET Troy. Dancers from all over the world will converge on Troy to learn, teach and dance Salsa and other Latin dances all day and night for three days.

Salsa is the Latin dance craze that is sweeping the nation. Detroit is fortunate to be host to this prestigious event.

A mix of Latin music, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Cha Cha Cha, Salsa, Rumba and more in the Copacabana Room
In Studio 54, East Coast Swing, Hustle, West Coast Swing and Disco
From the Streets Club for Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Bachata and Top 40s.

Performances by highly acclaimed dancers every evening at 8:30 pm plus shows on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Gather by the pool to relax and dance each afternoon after the workshops for a Salsa Pool Party!
